SharePoint or Groove - its successful deployment depends upon 'A Culture of Collaboration'

About a year ago I had a posting about achieving success in using collaborative systems (mainly Groove) -  "for it to be successfully deployed in an organization, the organization must have an already established 'culture'/practice/acceptance of collaboration." The posting was also cited by the Groove Networks' corporate weblog.

My statement above holds more true today and also for any collaborative systems, be it SharePoint, Lotus Notes, eRoom et al. Before you come to the conclusion that the system has failed, look within to see if your organization has 'A Culture Of Collaboration'.
