Microsoft is waving goodbye to Symantec and McAfee

Sometime back I was struggling for slammer "the One minutes shutdown" virus although I was having all updated anti-virus and windows XP 2.
Hope
windows one code  give better features for this.

Microsoft is waving goodbye to Symantec and McAfee it seems. On Tuesday, the company opened the doors to its Windows One-Care Live beta, a PC protection and maintenance service that offers an antivirus and firewall, along with tune-up and backup functionality.

Pentium M VS Pentium 4

I planned to buy a Pentium laptop on this thanks giving. I was totally confused on Pentium M vs Pentium 4 vs Centrino. I  got good idea from cnet.com . Here we goes..

Pentium M
------------

- It is "thin & light" or "ultra portables" compared to Pentium 4 laptop
- It is little slower and are a little pricier ($/Ghz) then P4.
- It consume less battery, generate less heat compared to P4.
- If mobile is priority then,  you might look for laptops with Pentium Ms, and preferred with Centrino. If performance  is priority than you might go for Pentium 4.

I use to dump lots of .Net related Software and Virtual PC 2004. I worked lot on AMD ,Celeron and Pentium 2/3/4 but among this my Pentium 4,1.6Ghz,1GB RAM giving the best performance.

At last but not least I buy the Pentium 4, 2.5 Ghz IBM laptop with 1GB RAM. This laptop is bit heavy but hope will give the best performance for my .Net and Biz Talk 2004 environment.

Cheers...Nice thanks giving.

How I setup Google Analytics for my asp.net blogs

Well after my last post Jon Galloway  ask me , How I setup Google analytics for my blogs. Yes, It looks like it bit tricky. Here we goes...

 1. I tried to register my blog on Google but it did not allow me to register may be due to sub domain (looks like their bugs).

2. I tried other way to register my own domain such as www.dotnetsutra.com it works. I copied the JavaScript code and past to my blog configuration page.

3. You need to have the code (e.g XX-12345-1) For Google Analytics. you can try your luck by putting dummy site and get the Google Analytics code.

How do I add tracking code to my website?

Best of luck
