I was just showing my friend Tim Heuer Beta 2 of myKB.com and he tried to use the color picker that we built in. We didn't build it, we bought it, and it works great, accept for one little thing.... It's a java applet. Not that java is bad by any means, but it really doesn't cut it to have to have a JVM required, which Tim didn't (and many users don't) have installed.
I told him it was the best one I could find, and he popped right back with, "Check out www.MyColorPicker.com".
WOW! This is the fastest I've ever bought a piece of software. I literally clicked the link that Tim sent to me VIA IM. I saw the plain as day, easy to find demos on the home page, saw it was an ASP.NET control that has wide browser support, it was only $29.00 with the source.
I clicked the buy button, paid with my paypal account, and now I have a new Color Picker to integrate.
This whole experience from introduction to purchase was less than 3 minutes. Literally.
Hats off to whoever is behind MyColorPicker.com -- It's a great site, solves a great problem, is very easy to purchase, everything.
Congrats----
(Oh and thanks Tim for the pointer)

VS2003 SP1 was released today, but I can't find a fix list. Anyone know of one?
