Week 2: Packers Shocked Cheeseheads Fans, not in a good way

Warning non-NET posting...

WOW!  I completely forgot how "schitzoid" the NFL is...  My beloved Packers did a complete 180% (except for Ahman Green) and laid a big fat egg against the Chicago Bears 21-10.

I can sum up the rankings with 2 bullet

  • Ahman Green - B (That goal-line fumble was a killer, but overall a very good performance)
  • Rest of Team - D-.  The team was in it, for the majority of the game, but couldn't "seal the deal."

The biggest problems for the Packers were:  turnovers, inability to move the ball against a medoicre defense, and inability to stop the run.

I have to give props to Lovie Smith (reaching his 1st coaching goal), my brother in law Rob, fellow South Central Developer Guidance Council member & ASP Insider Stephen Swienton, and the greatest deli in the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex = Weinberger's Deli in Grapevine  (all avid Bears fans).  Don't worry, we'll see you guys in week 17.

The Pack might just go 1-2 with next week's visit to the dreaded Indianapolis RCA Dome...
