Whidbey Beta2 Go-Live License Now Live

The Go-Live license for Whidbey Beta2 is now officially live here: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/golive/

Visit it and sign the license if you want to deploy an application on beta2.

    Could you clarify if the release version will allow you to wire up UserControl events in the designer? I notice you can do it in source view, but no events appear in the designer.



    Obviously it would be a nice to have feature, particularly as it would be used all the time by novice developers.

  • Is the Compact Framework Beta 2 available as a "stand-alone" download, or must one dowload an entire VS package? I've found the Full Framework download pages for my customers, but not the corresponding CF download pages.
