Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 & SQL Server 2005 Beta 2
If you plan a side-by-side installation of Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 & SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 you have to follow these steps (identified by Klaus Aschenbrenner):
- Installing Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1
- Uninstall .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 1 (shipped with Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1)
- Install prerequisites of SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 (including the .NET Framework compatible with SQL Server 2005 Beta 2)
- Install SQL Server 2005 Beta 2
The installation of VS.NET first is necessary due to different .NET Framework 2 versions.
