PoEAA

One of the books from my reading wish list has finally made it - Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture by Marin Fowler. Interesting reading so far. The book was advised by JP Boodhoo. I'd love to hear other good books recommendations with preferably less Coffee examples :)

PoEAA refers to a lot of other good books on the subject.  Check the References section at the end of the book for more details.  You can also visit Martin Fowler's Web site (http://www.martinfowler.com) for more references.

@Joe

Thanks for the idea, but if you red the question, I was very specific about what I am looking for. Buying hundreds of books just because all of them were referenced is not a good tactic in my opinion.

I see your point. If I were to pick a few from the bunch of "good books" out there, I would definitely choose "Agile Principles, Patterns, and Practices in C#". If you want to give it a shot, visit your local bookstore, get some coffee, and browse thru it to get an idea. It's worth your time.

@Deepak,

Thanks for the recommendation - now I'm definitely going to get it. It was on my wish list and I wasn't sure if it should be the next or not.
