North Dallas .NET Users Group meeting tonight - Introduction to BizTalk 2004

Jim will be presenting on BizTalk 2004 as a whole and will then focus on key portions of the framework such as orchestrations, pipelines, maps, custom functoids (both inline and referenced assemblies), and ports. He will give a very brief overview of all of these areas and how they are used to connect enterprise systems/applications into one coherent system of operation. Jim’s presentation will be very hands on with limited slide deck interaction.

About the Speaker:
Jim Martin began his development career with Fujitsu Network Communications in Richardson, Texas. While at Fujitsu, Jim worked in Human Resources Information Systems where he was responsible for developing and supporting various HR related custom solutions to include custom applications connected to Fujitsu’s SAP system. After five years with Fujitsu, Jim took an opportunity with Brinks Information Technology Group where his primary responsibilities were .NET Development and BizTalk 2004 development and support. After almost two years with Brinks, Jim accepted an opportunity as an Application Developer with Telligent Systems in Dallas, Texas. Jim’s main responsibility with Telligent is developing custom applications to meet various customers’ needs.
