I am all set to go to Redmond for preview

I am all set to go to Redmond, for preview, I can’t wait to go.
This is first time I am going there; hopefully I will have a good time there.

I will be staying at HomeStead village; they said it is walking distance to the event. I am planning to see some wonder full things in MS campus (evenings, after the event).
If any one out there knows more about the campus, please help me on this.

"walking distance" is a relative term.

It took me about 20 minutes to walk to our building from the homestead.

It was, however, as close as could be, and was a nice place to stay.

I'm from DK, so it's definitely within walking distance :-). Remember, Homestead doesn't have any facilities what so ever - it's primarily for extended stay. Last time I was there, 'bout a month ago, there wasn't even any coffee!

Hi Sridhar,

Yes, I had the same experience with HomeStead. They didn't have a coffee and they only take garbage out once a week and furnish new towels and bed once a week. Anyway, MS people will take care of you for your breakfast, lunch, and dinner (with drinks!). You should be fine. Have fun.
