Running Wss2 and Wss3 side-by-side

I didn't know that it was possible, but Microsoft posted a document describing how to do it. Didn't test it out yet, please share you're experiences if you do try it out. Would be great for on a development box where you are developing things for both platforms.

I just ran an install on one of my servers. Seems to work well.

That is my existing WSS2 sites are still working. Have not created a new WSS3 site yet.

@vincent: No, it is not possible to run Wss3 at Windows XP. Wss3 is a server product. But no one stop you from installing Virtual PC 2007 on your XP box (it's free), install in a virtual machine Windows Server 2003 and Wss3 and there you go! Works like a breeze, if you have enough memory. We do most of our development this way. Even for Windows Server 2003 you can find a 180 days evaluation version.
