VS 2005 image library - all the icons you need !

I am busy writing a toolwindow extension for Visual Studio 2005, and I needed some icons for my toolbar in the same style as Visual Stuido 2005. In search of this I stumbled accross the VS2005ImageLibrary, a zip file containing all the icons you need!

Path: X:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\VS2005ImageLibrary

Hi lb, a draft version is published on codeplex: http://www.codeplex.com/VSPowerTree, it is a tree control that hosts PowerShell, and each tree node can on selection execute PowerShell code that might even interact with VS.NET (through the DTE object). Will be used to provide viewpoint trees in a software factory I'm working on.

By the way: you have a great blog, and I loved your interview on Hanselmanminutes on MicroISV's (people check it out at http://www.hanselminutes.com/default.aspx?showID=61)

so -- this is what i'm picturing.

there's a tool window in vs, and it continas a tree.

you can add a node to this tree -- and that node will contain a powershell one-liner  (with or without parameters, say). That one liner is then persisted across your vs sessions. you can click on the node to run the one-liner.

The output can be piped to an output window i guess.

There could be guidance provided for using the tool to interact with VS.net itself -- and maybe some guidance for using it to talk to common source code repositories, unit testing frameworks, build providers, code generators, and other much loved additions to the VS.net habitat.

sounds nifty. i've done a little bit of hosting powershell and it's sweet.

also check this out -- i just did a google search for 'powershell in visual studio.net' -- the first three results are great! try it out!

cheers
