Manage TV viewing via XML
Ever heard of viewing TV via XML?

XMLTV is a set of utilities to manage your TV viewing. They work with TV listings stored in the XMLTV format, which is based on XML. The idea is to separate out the backend (getting the listings) from the frontend (displaying them for the user), and to implement useful operations like picking out your favourite programmes as filters that read and write XML documents.

I wnated to write a frontend for this but things are not as nice as it would seems.
From what I gathered the different feeds (per country) exist only in the form of Perl modules so one would need to include these (with their limitations..).

What you mean with "the different feeds (per country) exist only in the form of Perl modules" - shouldnt the feed be in XML like it says? I havent looked at it deeply now so thats why I am asking.
