Great post. It works!

The only thing is in FF, I had to move these lines to the bottom:

Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_beginRequest( startRequest );

Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest( endRequest );

Didn't test IE without moving to the bottom.

Nevertheless, this technique saves a lot of headaches.

It has been very help full to me, since i was searching for same from a long time, i woluld like to discuss one of my problem relating same i.e. we have stored eml attachment in binary form in database how can i read text inside the same, please help if possible.

Found a simpler method. In the properties of the RDLC file, mrk the "Buid Action" as "Content". For me, this caused the rdlc file to be published.

I really want to use this, but don't have the skills resources to take the source code and compile it. I've installed the precompiled v1.1 but it suffers from the bug above. Is there any way you can publish a compiled .wsp version of 1.2 including your fix. It would be so beneficial to me, and no one codeplex seems to have done it :-(

I had this problem after I converted my asp.net 2.0 website to a web application project. Eventually realised you can set the properties for each item in the solution explorer, and set each rdlc file's "Build Action" property to Content, and the "Copy to Output Directory" property to Copy Always.
