&lt;p&gt;The only thing is in FF, I had to move these lines to the bottom:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_beginRequest( startRequest );&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest( endRequest );&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Didn't test IE without moving to the bottom.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Nevertheless, this technique saves a lot of headaches.&lt;/p&gt;

Eventually realised you can set the properties for each item in the solution explorer, and set each rdlc file&amp;#39;s &amp;quot;Build Action&amp;quot; property to Content, and the &amp;quot;Copy to Output Directory&amp;quot; property to Copy Always.&lt;/p&gt;
