Longer Version
I've been involved in the Microsoft community since 1999. I've been in IT and working with Microsoft technologies since 1996. I was first involved in the development community running a website called ASPFree.com. I started ASPFree.com in 1999 and ran through 2003. My site was one of the first sites to run ASP.NET in production. I wrote articles, tips/tricks and interacted with others in the ASP.NET community. After moving past ASPFree.com, in 2004, I developed and started selling a program called IISLogs (www.iislogs.com) This is a program that helps administrators process IISLogs (Compress, Delete, Move files). There are two versions (Windows Service, Stand-alone EXE). I'm actively involved in the IIS community participating in discussion forums @ http://forums.iis.net. I was recognized as an ASP.NET MVP in from 2002 to 2006. I'm currently an IIS MVP and have been since 2006. One additional item, I worked for www.orcsweb.com for 3 1/2 years as a Senior Systems Administrator. This is a windows based hosting provider.
For my writing experience, besides the articles published on ASPFree.com, IISLogs.com. I've wrote articles for previous ASP.NET sites. My most recent authoring experience was an author on Internet Information Services 7.0 resource kit for MSPress. I authored 3 chapters and 2 appendixes for the book.
