I kind of liked the old one better; this one is a bit too simple, but not bad. And for the love of God could someone explain how/why some MS sites (like MSDN) are slower than a turtle crossing the street, while others (like the IIS site) are more like a rabbit, huuuhh?!

Change is always an adjustment.  My homepage is forums.iis.net so I noticed the increased performance.  I think the slowest thing on MSDN is the tree control.  Which is some huge XML file probably. :)
