  • Jamie wants your money... get over it

I'm not going to call out any particular blogger on this, but there appears to be a lot of bitching and moaning since Jamie Cansdale announced he was going to begin charging for commercial use of TestDriven.NET . I say, get over it. For the record, I don't even use his tool, but I 100% appreciate...

  • No more codeplex for me...

I tried the forgot my password option and codeplex sent me the email with the link to reset my password. I clicked it and went to the page that let me specify a new password. When I submitted the form it took a long time and eventually just died with no response. (Just aborted the connection, Fiddler...

  • SubSonic of the day - Collections

I am going to start spreading the goodness of SubSonic. I think SubSonic is sometimes overlooked for flashy things such as LINQ and Project JASPER. SubSonic is in a transition point (which is apparent when reading Rob Conery's blog ), but I think the project still has tons of momentum and is an INVALUABLE...

  • SubSonic of the Day - The Query tool

By now, you have probably heard of LINQ. LINQ, as you probably know, stands for Language Integrated Query. The LINQ queries you build inside of C# or VB are baked into the .NET 3.5 framework. SubSonic takes a more traditional approach (right now) and uses the Query as an object. Instead of doing weird...

  • Tech press and tech bloggers are completely full of crap

The nice thing about Digg and social sites and RSS is that you can absorb a crap load of content around stuff you're interested in. Unfortunately though, I'm starting to realize that "crap load" is exactly what it has become. The problem is that all the people doing the writing take a simple view of...
