  • BizSpark - Free Software and Production Licenses for Startups in the Startup Phase

Last November, Microsoft started a new program called BizSpark for startups that's pretty sweet. It's pretty not-too-evil also. If you are a small business and you sell a product or service to your customers, you might want to check it out. Here's the criteria: Actively engaged in development...

  • ASP.NET MVC Samples, Oxite, and Community

I am writing this sitting on a plane between Joburg and Cape Town, on the way to a User Group meeting to talk about ASP.NET MVC. As I said at the Joburg User Group meeting, ASP.NET MVC is young and we (that is, we the community, not just We, the Microsoft) are still learning about what a "pretty"...

  • 2010 Survey Results: What .NET Framework features do you use?

In October of 2008 I took an informal survey on Twitter . I wanted to get an idea of what features of the .NET Framework people were using. Also, here's the disclaimer. I did this on a whim, it's not scientific, so the margin of error is +/-101%. That said, the results feel intuitively right...
