  • Mini-Microsoft quits!

Today, Mini-Microsoft , a blog by an anonymous Microsoft employee which got a lot of attention in the past, posted a blog entry that today's post is the last one... Like I said before, for the near-term I will throw up the occasional interesting article or reposted comment. Perhaps that is all it takes...

  • maybe Google is evil 2nd part

Its some time ago that i blogged the abuse of my name in a google adsense campaign. This was a easy case, cause the guy was located in germany. Now i figured out that jam software ( a competitor ) is using our registered trademark visendo as adword. For me its complicated to handle this in a correct...

  • Something is out of wack with the spirtual side of the branding experience

Yeah, catchy title, eh? Do I know what it means? No, I don't have the slightest idea what on earth mr. Steve Ball, group program manager for the Windows Audio Video Excellence team (what do these people do?), meant with spirtual side of the branding experience. You can read all about it here: The startup...

  • What's an MVP? What does 'MVP' really mean?

A couple of days ago, the community learned that Jamie Cansdale , creator of Testdriven.NET wasn't re-nominated for the MVP title. As an explanation from Microsoft , he received a vague email that in the past year, he apparently didn't do enough for the community to get the award, and also apparently...

  • Windows Tools I Always forget about...

While doing some asp.net dev today I needed to hack my hosts file so I could mimic a live website. However after modifying my hosts file it didnt seem to affect things. I figured there was some kind of DNS caching going on, which prompted me to remember this handy Windows command-line tool: ipconfig...

  • It's not about getting a free laptop, it's about credibility

So apparently some people got a free laptop which was payed by AMD and Microsoft. I say: good for them, getting gifts is always nice. (no, I didn't get one, nor would I have accepted it). However a gift from a company has a side effect: there's always a catch. Though there's some negative buzz about...

  • Process and Control SOA

I tried to commit to the simple rule “do not post a post on a post”, but now that Gregor has this excellent post on “ Validating Dynamic Systems ” on his blog. I’m going to say goodbye to the rule for now. Apparently Gregor and Erik created a talk on Software Visualization...

  • And this is why Google will win...

Jeffrey Palermo blogged tonight about his new link blog . It's not really a blog, it's a feed of shared items in Google Reader. I didn't know that was possible with Google Reader. What a great concept: the info is already there in your reader, so why not add the blog items of various blogs you're reading...
