Weblog Newbie Questions

Ok, so I try to read weblogs.asp.net everyday when time permits, however I am sure there is tons of information I miss.  Is there some form of a search method for *all this info*?

Also I have read about software that allows us to enter a blog entry via a winform app (w.bloggar comes to mind, however I cannot seem to get it to work).  Which ones work the best or work at all with weblogs.asp.net?

Google actually works quite nicely in most cases. You can limit google to weblogs.asp.net by affixing "site:weblogs.asp.net" to your search. dotnetweblogs.com was getting great results a while back, but it looks like weblogs.asp.net isn't striking high on searches yet. Scott also had a beta search page up at one point, but it looks like he took that down.

Also, are you subscribed to Jesse's archive feed?

For posting, if you use Outlook, NewsGator has a posting plug-in for weblogs.asp.net.

Besides what Chad recommends (let me second the nomination for Jesse's archive, also check out Feedster.

Blog Buddy lets you update through a windows app, not sure how compatible it is with weblogs.asp.net though.
