Tiernan OTooles Programming Blog

code and programming stuff from the hairy bloke!

RSSAgg working, again!

Last night i started work on RSSAgg again, and it works! ITS ALIVE!!! :) and its now using a fix i found here for RSS.NET. RSS.NET, BTW, is the RSS reader backend im currently using. Ill probably start using ATOM.NET later for some of my feeds, but at the moment RSS.NET is doing a cool job. the fix listed above actually solves the problem of dates with some of my feeds. my Mob Blog is still not generating RSS feeds so im working on my own! simple answer to the problem! :) anyway, more work later on it. BTW, the code im going to use to build my own photo blog is based around code i talked about and linked to here. so, more work on that later!

I hope that you will not fall on feeds using purl.org/dc... because the date is found then in the element dc:date, it is thus necessary still to modify the switch...

Moreover, I have the impression that we work on similar projects;) Your work representing what I do not have to implement yet (single out stream).

Lastly, for Atom.net, the tests which I carried out promise of long hours of debug for:p

You could gain an explosive feedback if you provide rss2atom and atom2rss transform stylesheets so that nobody needs to care anymore.
