Thomas take a look at the code sample below I believe that it breaks your parser and that it is legal c# syntax.

string s = @"234\"
string t = "3434"

Just trying to help you I have written a code parser/htmler in the past and I had an issue with this as well.

Simply add a new block pattern definition that catches verbatim strings, i.e.
beginsWith="@""

And drop the escapesWith for that pattern.
