Bush's speech...

30 seconds into Bush's speech, he has already said “This has been tough weeks” and “insticated”.

I'm not anti-Bush, but man... you make it so easy, George.

Gee, Tim, glad you found something so important to criticize.

So Bush makes it easy to criticize his language skills, and you make it easy to criticize your shallow analysis. See? You complement one another.

Sigh.

GAD - I don't even even know how to respond to this.
I wasn't trying to provide an analysis of his speech in this (obviously it was posted in the first minute of the speech, if you look at the timestamp). If fact, I even, GASP, defended Bush in my next post.

My only point here was that he makes it too easy for his critics when he says stupid things like this. This is our PRESIDENT. You can agree or disagree with his policy all you want - but is it that wrong to want him to use real words when he gives news conferences?

GAD: here's some analysis from Europe: if our prime minister acts like Bush, he would be out of office within a week.

You might not realise this but I don't know one single fellow countryman/woman who thinks Bush is even intelligent enough to do an average office job left alone run a country.

Lack of intelligence (his IQ is 91 if I'm correct) leads to a bigger window for influences from other people. In Europe we know Cheney runs the white house, not Bush. Apparently the americans think otherwise. Perhaps you all should watch less Fox news (which is hilarious btw ;)) and more other newschannels who also are not that non-biased but do a better job.

Again: a person who lacks serious intelligence, who is not well educated, has no trackrecord of being interested in other countries/cultures whatsoever, just money and who is STILL be able to become president of the USA, has to have important friends. However in high politics, 'friends' means: 'I-O-U'-friends. Never forget that.

Tim: I was a little harsh on you in the other thread :) I hadn't read this one. If I had, I simply would have said that you do get it, but that I couldn't understand why you would defend Bush.
