Same router (v2), same cat5 cabling, same problem here. Disconnects happen about every 15 minutes. I tried downgrading the router's firmware on the advice of some other site, but the disconnects still persist. The problem seems to be either that the router isn't fully compatible with Live, or M$ has a problem at their end.</p> <p>From what I've seen so far researching this issue, many befw11s4 owners are experiencing this same disconnect problem. M$ remains silent on the matter.</p> <p>Try a direct connection to the cable modem. If the problem goes away, it's likely a router compatibility issue. (I've exhausted the router config options, so I doubt it's a config issue.) If the disconnects persist &nbsp;after directly connecting to the modem, it's likely a server-side issue.</p> <p>You'd *think* Micro$oft would have tested the ten most popular routers in circulation before releasing Live.
