IronPython 1.0 Beta 1 from Microsoft for .NET

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=94082D26-E689-4F7F-859B-FEC6DACF3AE8&displaylang=en

IronPython is the codename for a beta release of the Python programming language for the .NET platform.
It supports an interactive interpreter with fully dynamic compilation. It is well integrated with the rest of the framework and makes all .NET libraries easily available to Python programmers.

Looks like it requires .NET 2.0.

The debate over VB.NET vs C# will pale in comparison to what will start when Python developers start sharing the bunk bed with the rest of the .NET kids.
