Our "Beginning Atlas" book proposal has been approved

Yes, that's right, our "Beginning AJAX with ASP.NET" book hasn't hit the streets yet and we just got approval for our next AJAX oriented book.  This book will be based on the RTM version of Microsoft Atlas. which isn't due till Orcas.  Two questions that I have already gotten are:

  1. What's the difference in the two books?  The "Beginning AJAX" book is about AJAX operations with ASP.NET.  These operations may be accomplished by the AJAX.NET Pro Library, Atlas, other AJAX libraries, and how to roll your own.   The "Beginning Atlas" book will be about Atlas specifically.  Those are two very different requirements.
  2. When will the "Beginning Atlas" book be available?  Well, it just got approved.  Our goal is to be out with 1 month of the release of the RTM release of Atlas.  Obviously, that leads to the next question.  When will Atlas ship.  The only info on the release of Atlas is that Microsoft will ship Atlas with the release of .NET Orcas.

My tentative co-authors for this book are Paul Glavich, Scott Cate,  Craig Shoemaker, Steve Orr, and Steve Smith.  I am really looking forward to this book.
