Oracle with .NET and Windows

I am glad to see that Oracle is supporting the .NET framework.  Well, Oracle has been supported for a long time, but its good to see more support coming directly from Oracle.

They have a statement of direction with Vista: http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/windows/rdbms/oraclevistasod.htm

They have regional conferences for developers, including a track for .NET developers.  Too bad the United States isn't a region for them.  Even then, if it wasn't in the southeastern US, I wouldn't go.  I guess the good news is at least they are trying to do something.  One of my major criticisms of Oracle has been that they don't engage with the developer community much.

They do have a .NET section on their web site.  Its at

and they do have a beta 64 bit ODP.NET driver

They have a set of tools that plug into Visual Studio at
