Matt Drudge, of Drudge Report (http://www.drudgereport.com) is well known and attributed with breaking the Clinton sex scandal amongst other things. Originally he would have fit into the "Greater Blogoshere" but I would almost classify him as Big Media because of his notoriety. The problem with the term "Greater Blogosphere" is that it over simplifies the outlets who are "blogging" as simply RSS feeds. These are somewhat sophisticated news organizations with dedicated staff operating in a fairly conventional publishing model. That being the case, Drudge-like outlets fit squarely in that space.
