Too Many Credit Cards

I love this.

An article in Wired Magazine heralded the pending release of a product called Pocket Vault from a company called Chameleon Networks that allows you to use a single credit card to simulate stacks of credit cards.

They are taking orders now for approximately $179.

The worst exposure isn't the 10 minutes. I'll think twice about handing my credit card to a waiter, who can now have a Pocket Vault and load it up with every customer's credit card and easily ammass enough credit in a day to pay for a shopping spree.

Christian...

This would be true only if the Pocket Vault allowed you to scan cards. It doesn't. You must have it attached to your computer and be authenticated by the card provider or provide a biometric authentication in order to scan the card. Any other form of theft already exists.
