Vista is awesome ...save for this one thing.

I truly love using Vista. The list of things to love is long, but I won't bore you with that cause I am gonna gripe about the one thing that I hate.

I have a multiple monitor set up...and Vista simply can't remember which is my "main" monitor and its position in relationship to my other monitor. Screen saver comes up...and when I exit that BOOM changes it. If I log in, BOOM changes it... .lock my workstation... unlock BOOM! Its fantastically annoying.

So far I have not found the “Don’t screw with my settings” option... it has to been in there somewhere!

I haven't had that problem and I ran a dual setup for a few weeks? The problem I've had is the main monitor won't shut off if I've got RDP open somewhere, so it stays on all day long while I'm rdp'd in from work. And even when I disconnect it stays up

I don't suppose you've found a fix for this. It's driving me absolutely batty as well.
