My new MVP Lead Blog

I received an email from my regional MVP lead announcing that she's just start a blog and introduce blogging to her fellow MVPs. Well, I just knew that my MVP lead was changed 2 weeks ago and she'll take care of the Hong Kong and Taiwan MVPs, I don't know what's happen in my local MS office and my (old) local MVP lead but... anyway, it's great to see my new regional MVP lead join the blogsphere.

She join the blogsphere at the best moment, especially Scott just upgraded the Community Server :: Blog software recently, including the comment spam prevention, and especially DBCS supported, that's why she can enter Chinese in her blog now.

BTW, I run a local blogging site with the help of Scott last year, and all of the local MVPs host a blog there. Therefore, I contacted her at once when she became my new MVP lead, and I introduce the idea of providing a single place for both Hong Kong and Taiwan MVPs, like toggling the GroupID on weblogs.asp.net. She bought my idea and I'd start coding on DotText (Well, v0.95.102 of DotText do have some minor known bug, including the Admin logout issue and the VARCHAR and NVARCHAR problem). Anywy, I modified DotText and setup in one of my hoster within a week, and the project is actually ready to go. However, the new MVP lead IMed me this evening and told me that... her community team had setup another blogging site and welcome all of the Hong Kong and Taiwan MVP to join and start blogging. It's totally a duplication of job and wasteful of time... sigh...

Anyway, I'm glad to see more and more people, especially the MSies around my region start blogging.
