Extension/Flexibility of FireFox
A developer in my team is creating a Flash-enabled web page recently, and he want to disable Flash player temporarily in order to view different results of the web page. (ah... back to the age of cross browsers compatibilities pain...)
So, the admin advise him to remove Flash player in I.E. only, it's easy by accessing to Tools, Internet Options, Settings, View Objects and then remove Shockwave Flash player. However, the dev can't switch this view back and forth then...
Personally, I used Firefox extensively and it's pretty easy to do so by installing an extension called "FlashBlock": Tools, Extensions, Get More Extension and then browse to FlashBlock. Then, users can play a Flash object selectively:
Well, I think FireFox is quite powerful for end users, as well as dev due to its flexability and extensibility. Explore your browser and make your life easier.
