Rss Assistance from ASP.NET Developer Center

Those that are connected to me via my MsnMessenger implant will have noticed that I haven't been around much this week.  The reason for that is that I've had to travel interstate to help a consortium architect a Content Management Solution for a tender response using a whole bunch of the latest technologies - ASP.NET, CMS2002, WebServices etc...

One of the requirements in the tender document was we needed to demonstrate that our CMS solution could expose postings as an "Rss" feed!  This is significant.  The company in question is a large (VERY) government department.  Isn't it amazing to think that Rss is now "in" the mainstream.

Anyways, a cool thing happened this morning... I had nominated myself to build the Rss feature; when I awoke this morning and logged in to my aggregator there was Kent!  Do you know what he was telling me?  He said that I didn't have to worry about building the feed, Scott had already done it and that he was suggesting that I spend the 7 hours that I had alloted to build the feature doing some sight-seeing instead.  Good thinking!

Thanks Kent (and Scott) :-)
