The Power of Blogging and Channel 9

Just a small, personal anecdote on the power of blogging and Channel 9.

Despite my self-admitted geekness (which my wife will often mention with distain), I have never been one for playing games on my computer.  Yeah, I've done my time with Solitaire and Mine Sweeper, but that's about it.  I did go throught a phase for a few seasons of playing a great football game - NFL Challenge, but that was many, many years ago.  

While trying feverishly to catch up on some blog reading a while ago, I came across 2 posts by Scoble about the Microsoft Flight Simulator team, here and here.  The latter post included a link to a Channel 9 video interveiwing the Flight Simulator team.  I was so inspired by this video that I went to my kids and made them give me their copy of Flight Simulator so I could install it on my machine !  It is great sitting-in-the-airport entertainment.
