[OT] Half-Life back story, mods
I'm a fan of the Half-Life thing. I stink at it - unlike my little brother who finished it 4 days after it was released and is now literally lapping me, I'm still slogging through. I play for the love of the game, though, and because I really enjoy the storyline.
So I was happy to see the Half-Life Saga Story Guide (via techno weenie). It actually does make a bit of sense.
Here are some fun mods I've heard about but haven't tried:
Gary's mod - Gary built it to play with the physics. Now you can to!
The Specialists mod - Looks like The Matrix except without the really stupid ending
