Team Rooms in TFS Service

What a great deal of innovation is undergoing Visual Studio & TFS.

Let’s go through Team Rooms, a cool new feature in TFS.

You will find Team Rooms in TFS Web Access in the top left corner:

The first thing you will notice is the Web chat  you have available with the rest of the team. You can configure some more events to show up in the chat window. These events are triggered by some TFS action performed by some user (ie code changes, workitem changes, build notifications, etc.).

Notice the two events in the chat Window. The first is a TFS event telling the Team Room members that Javier made a change in one file. The second is a user saying something :).

You can configure which events to display in the Manage Events option in the right bottom corner.

This feature is available in the TFS Service version. It should be coming to the TFS on premises shortly.
