I am a Bachelor of Information Systems :-)

Last week I completed my degree: Bachelor of Information Systems! Last friday we celebrated the accomplishment in Oslo. As class president I hosted the celebration dinner and festivities. The party was a smashing success with live band, standup and tapas.

Because of that party (lots of hassle arranging it) it was not until today I figured that I no longer could have a pure 'studentblog'. I'll figure out a new name while writing this post.

Anyways. I've got a assignment at a small norwegian sw company called eFactory through summer. I like it. I can code however and whenever I want as long as I get the job done in time. In august I am technically unemployed. I guess I'll brush up on my cv aswell.

Its hard to be a newly educated sw-developer here as everywhere else, so I'm currently selling my appartement and planning a trip to the Americas. After a trip to Cuba/Mexico etc. I'll attend OOPSLA in Anaheim, CA USA as a student volunteer in october. After that I want to persue "the american dream": for me that is to work in sw-dev with really smart people. So if anyone wants a visit on the westcoast this fall; give me a call:) My feeling is that if I don't travel now (at 23yrs) I probably never will...

I am celebrating my degree with this new skin that I just used way too many hours to tweak (and it's still not quite right).
