Mono

The mono project is something I have been watching but not getting involved with. It's not that I don't want to. With so much going on in our fast-moving technology space, i have had to carefully pick where I spend my time. Lately it has been about looking at whidbey, object databases, AOP and some other personal and business endeavors....Mono, although fascinating, is just too far down the list for me. When this happens I often pick up a book on the subject in order to stay abreast of the going-on. I saw this book on mono and considering reading up on it. Mono: A Developer's Notebook. Any other suggestions?

  • thanks for the feedback....i haven't seen too many books on Mono but that is probably due to the fact that it is just now getting to a state that the masses can use it....

i am most interested in figuring out how to create my code-base in such a way that it could run on both a linux/unix mono environment as well as a windows environment.
