Developer Security training
I just received some goodies relating to the Longhorn preview day presentation in Dublin.
So in the envelope I was quite happy to find 3 nice things:
- Longhorn PDC preview (surely not the latest one)
- A mini-CD containing the session done by David Chappell. Oh man I love this new fashion to give some human faces to the Microsoft blokes. And now they have their pictures engraved on the CD. Cool :-)
- And the final bit is very interesting, a DVD named Developer Security Training. Plenty of good stuff inside and a chance to enter a competition to be the 2004 Security champion.
" Write code and build applications that are less vulnerable to security threats. This “must” DVD seminar introduces developers to the knowledge and skills required to identify and mitigate security threats. The seminar covers the essentials of security as well as best practices for defending your code against threats. It also covers security best practices using the .NET Framework. The information presented is largely relevant to all developers irrespective of programming platform and operating system. "
