Tablet PC, a flop ?

Robert Scoble comment about an article by Mary Jo Foley, Trouble in Tablet Land.

One thing I would add, Robert, is just this two facts:

1- Tablet PC is perceived as a gizmo, cool but not really suitable for real work.

2- a Tablet PC is a VERY expensive gizmo.

Note that I am a gizmo lover, so I really like the Tablet PC. But a serious job has to be done by Microsoft to make it a success story.
