C# 2.0 and Beyond, great meeting yesterday
Thanks to all the participants yesterday at our monthly INDA meeting. Thanks also to Eamon for his ability to start a lecture on a whiteboard (due to some projectors failure :-)).
Again I would just like to place here what Robert Burke said recently on those community events:
Q: Who is welcome?
A: Everyone!
Q: Who tends to show up?
A: It's quite a mix. Seasoned developers and curious newcomers; academics and repesentatives from all aspects of industry.
Q: What's it going to cost me?
A: All the events that Clare has listed are 100% free. We'll probably even fill up a glass or two for you if you stick around after the event.
Q: What can I expect?
Typically the events start with a presentation that lasts an hour or two. The presentations, which are given both by industry experts and Microsofties like me, offer a great chance to learn (and ask questions) about new and interesting technologies.
Equally important, there's usually a social aspect afterward. These are great opportunities to meet and chat with other people, find out what interests them, and share ideas about what makes you excited about the technologies.
Long story short: they're very worthwhile evenings! Come on out and I hope to see you over the next few months.
The slides and demo will be soon on Developers.ie for all INDA members.
