ASP.NET FTP Deployment Tool

I've now got about 30 beta testers. Received my first negatory--application exception during the "splash" screen. This wasn't a very good start--at least for this tester. I sure hope these bugs aren't too prevalent!

I am really interested (and I am surely not the only one) to know more about this tool for these reasons:

I have my own host server but I disabled FTP for security issues.
However I use actually VS.Net and Frontpage extensions to deploy my application from my development box to the live server.
The problem is if I want to publish a modification done in one or few files, it's quite impossible to send only the files required.

I tried the trick to exclude files I don't want to publish from my project before deploying, but when you manage dozens of dozens of files, it's useless.

So my main question about this tool is that software can be use through VS.Net as an add-in ?
And can it let me doing things like any FTP software ?
Do I need absolutly to have my FTP opened on the server ?

And finally can I find more specs somewhere?
