Microsoft to acquire Seadragon?

Robert Scoble write about the possible acquisition of Seadragon by Microsoft. As recommended on Channel 9 I watched the demos and… WOOOWWW!

If this level of streaming is really possible today this will can revolutionise the way we are looking at data on any computer or mobile. I just wish to see a real demo not just some movie demo, to be totally sure Seadragon promise is for good. This can totally blow up Google Earth!
Now if Microsoft buy this technology, I would like to see some cool APIs from that.
