Reminder: first Irish National Developers Conference next week

Yes only one week now from the first INDC. It has been a very busy year to setup this conference and I remember when I got this idea to gather developers in Ireland around some common themes like .Net 2.0, SQL 2005, etc... in the same format than the PDC.

Some people at the time called me crazy saying this whole idea will collapse before it even start but I am glad it's now on track for a great line up of speakers including Scott Guthrie.

I give the relay a couple of weeks ago to a friend of mine Philip McKeown for the organisation of the event. When I started INDA I knew that some day I will have to let other people managing the group. It has been an interesting two years to develop a group (now woith more than 1400 memeberS) and I am glad now I can work on something else.

I will still disagree with some of the decisions made now by INDA, but hey this is my right for free speech, isn't it? I am not really retiring from the community world, I am going to work more on Developers.ie for now on, my objective is to create a good strong online Irish community.

The site will be open now not only to INDA but to all .Net community initiatives. More focus on content probably!
