IE7 for Windows XP IE7+ for Vista

To show a difference between the new version of Internet Explorer for XP and the one for Vista, the latter will have just a + and a slightly different user agent string.

  • IE7+ running on Windows Vista: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)
  • IE7 running on Windows XP: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)

    • So thanks god no features difference between the two, mostly specific Vista stuff like parental control.
