What to look forward to today
Well, today is going to be a pretty decent day. First off, today is MS Patch Day, meaning that once again it's time for my Patch Day Review. I'll put together a list this afternoon and post it this evening, Hopefully it won't be as long as last week's, cause that means lots of vulnerabilities.
My next Builder.com article comes out today. Well, it actually came out last week, but my editor needs to make some changes before I link to it. Those should be completed by mid-morning. This is the second in a three-part series on versioning. I will post more about it later this morning.
Speaking of Builder.com, my article on deleting items from a DataGrid, with popup confirmation, was referenced in this morning's ASP.NET TechMail. This was my very first article, and it's nice to see it come up again. If you read it, make sure you read Part 2 - Deleting from a Paging Grid. There are certain things you have to take into consideration that you may not have known about.
Tomorrow, I will be taking the day off in observance of US Patriot Day. Many of you didn't know me in 2001, but September 11th affected me in a different way than most outside of the East Coast. It was the day that another venture I worked really hard on went up in flames.... literally. That day forever changed my life. Tomorrow, in my personal blog, I'll finally tell my story.
