Feds: Tech on the Rise
... but jobs are not, says News.com. Here's my prediction for the first part of 2004.
The jobs will bounce back in early 2004, once corporations whose fiscal years line up with the calendar year get new budgets and new yearly goals. Demand is starting to outpace the growth potential of the existing workforce, which will cause a hiring surge over the next 4-6 months. Companies who went offshore for cheap labor will be forced to cut their losses and bring some of that workforce back on this hemisphere.
