OK Day, Better Evening

I was looking through the pingbacks/trackbacks in my blog, and I found out that there are over 100 links to my quasi-rant on how .NET 1.1 is not an upgrade to .NET 1.0. WOW. That's kinda cool. Scoble's pretty popular, and he only has 16 readers . I think those same 16 read my blog, because all the rest are Google links.

My day got even better when I get home. My article on builder.com came out only last week, and I got home today, a week later, to a check waiting for me. Last time it took over 7 weeks to get it, so I am thoroughly stoked. At this rate, I'll be able to crank out articles like a machine and focus my creative talents elsewhere.

And finally, my car insurance went down $30 a month to $109. How cool is that?!?!? To top it all off, my friend Carrie and I have been having some issues communicating lately, but we just spent a fantastic evening together and I am feeling TONS better. We are great friends and it was really stressing me out that we were having such problems. Just a few more days until my vacation. My travel plans are shot, but I still may take a trip, I haven't decided. If I can do Vegas for $200 maybe I'll go to Disneyland or something. Maybe I'll just save my cash, take a few days off, and then crank out all the products I've been meaning to finish for my company. Maybe I'll go back to Vegas for a week and work on my articles. Eh, who knows. well, I'm gonna try to get some actual sleep tonight so that I can be rested and get through my busy day tomorrow.

Speaking of Vegas, I have some funny technology-related notes about Sin Sity. Things that would shock you. Things like 24th century attractions running on late 80s technology. Funny stuff. I'm out.
