A report card for .NET

Industry pundit Jon Udell has a report card for .NET. His article is quite comprehensive and with a 3-foot history timeline (download the PDF version of the article). There is a sidebar on .NET Dynamic languages (or lack thereof) and some interesting comments from others in the industry, notably Phil Stanhope (CTO Adesso Systems). Phil's comments on interops and threading is worth noting. Overall, the article gives a very good snapshot of .NET's past, present and future.
