The much anticipated new version 6.2 is available for download
As revealed before, the new version 6.2 presents an improved developer experience with its complete integration into Visual Studio, and the consolidated installation process. In addition, it also presents improved compatability to development environments.
Improved Compatibility
The new version
can also be installed without Visual Studio and allows to
develop web from almost any machine with either the free
Visual Studio Express edition, SharpDevelop, or even
Notepad.
Visual Studio full integration
The new
Visual WebGui 6.2 integration into Visual Studio allows
Visual WebGui projects to be configured within Visual Studio
native property pages with no need for manually
configuration of the Web.Config files.
The entire Visual WebGui project configuration is now placed in 3 tabs (General, Registration, and Deployment) according to the type of configuration.
Consolidated Installation Process
The
new 6.2 version also introduces an upgraded installation
process which consolidates all Visual WebGui products, SDK
installation, extensions and documentation into one single
step-by-step enhanced experience.
In addition to allowing developers to install all features as one package, the new installation process presents advanced developers with details about the included features and their hierarchy and gives the option to include only the desired features.

functionality of the Visual WebGui application.
