Oracle announces support for CLR procedures with Oracle 10g Release 2

Microsoft will ship support for CLR objects with the release of Sql Server 2005.

IBM has support for CLR objects in DB/2 Version 8.2 for Windows.

Oracle will support CLR Stored Procedues in 10g Release 2.

Very cool indeed.  By this time next year, Whidbey and all of these databases should be shipping products (we hope).  And I'll be able to write database logic within all of them using VB or C#.
